chance to pause, unwind and connect in beautiful British countryside, so you can return refreshed and ready for the end of the year

And this is one with a purpose.
The Retreat will help you catch your breath before we head into the hectic end of year period. Stepping out of your busy life will give you a chance to focus 100% on YOU and what you want.
We'll workout, set goals, explore the countryside, plan your year ahead, eat nourishing, delicious food (thanks to the in-house chefs!) and you'll return rejuvenated and ready for anything.

There's also the opportunity to catch up with me to review your fitness, wellbeing, goals and strategies to get you there - as needed, we'll come up with a plan for the next 12 months too!
All food!
Delicious, nourishing meals are on the menu, so you don't need to lift a finger - and you'll learn some fantastic new recipes! They've all been tested (muched!) beforehand to ensure they fuel us correctly - they're cooked on site by the talented cooks I'm bringing with me!
Fun, inclusive, scalable workouts
Need to build your GYMFIDENCE? There are fun, group workouts offer every day, giving you the chance to try new things, learn new exercises and get a sweat on - all are scalable and can be adapted as needed.
Yoga sessions with amazing instructor, Craig Brimmer
Space to pause and deeply relax is the point of the retreat. The yoga sessions with Craig will give you the breathing space to make that happen, in a safe space with a talented instructor.
New friends
Proving the GBTQ+ community isn't unfriendly and we do care and support each other is a big part of FCY. Not only will you experience this first hand, you'll make deep bonds on the trip.
Energy for the rest of the year - and beyond!
How often do you really stop, pause and take stock? None of us get the chance in our day-to-day lives, but the retreat has been created for precisely that purpose, and your return ready for anything.

when does it start?
In order for the group to bond from Day One, you're asked to arrive at the Cottage between 4 - 6pm on the afternoon of Thursday 28th September, in time for a tour of the house and grounds (with a pre-dinner drink!)

A chance to step out of real, day-to-day life and focus solely on the things that will help you feel amazing - for good. The Fitter Confident You Retreat combines fitness, inner wellbeing, mindset work, friendship and confidence-boosting experiences, wrapped up in gorgeous days in an inspiring location, with fabulous food, wine and company too
Well, technically, nothing! If you want to sit by the roaring fire, reading books and generally rejuvenating, that's A-OK - this is your trip to get from it what you want. Matt will run at least one workout every day - all will be scalable and suitable for all fitness levels and you'll have your own exercise mat and water bottle. There are also other activites including group bonding walks through the beautiful New Forest on our doorstep - but what you join in with, is up to you.
All meals are included - breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks too. Plus all preferences can be catered for too, ie. vegans and veggies are welcome!
There are a combination of singles, doubles and twins, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis - you may be sharing with a fellow guest but there is a huge amount of space in the Lodge and grounds, to help everyone feel quickly at ease.
Absolutely not! Wherever you are on your Fitter Confident Journey, I'll ensure the workouts are doable, enjoyable and scalable to all needs - I'm bringing some new kit you might not have tried before too!
